Farewell Party in Gatton

Farewell party at Yulfia's/Syaiful and Hidhir's house...they have done with their study and will leaving Gatton for good.

Farewell party, pizza and movie night by GISA. For those who finished their study go home quickly, your country need you :)...but for those who just start and still struggle with works here, please be patient...including me.

The movie of the night was Laskar Pelangi. What such a good movie and sometimes brings back the nostalgia when I was a kid, at primary school as kampung girl. This hardcore life mixed together with humor and fun side as a child who looking for education in a very limited facilities.

Charming and beautiful scene of Malay and Chinese ethnic in Belitong, Sumatera Barat. Their way of life including language, customs and the rest is very similar to Malay ethnic in Malaysia. Together with terrific natural sightseeing in Pulau Belitong and natural wild life, this movie was adapted from a very famous true story from Laskar Pelangi novel by Andrea Hirata.

The most nostalgic things to me is Kemunting fruits as make me flashback to my early childhood in Bukit Tungku, Pasir Mas. The most familiar forest shrubs trees with purple fruits just looks like a blueberry. For those who didn't know how kemunting is look like, there are some trees were planted in Kota Damansara Park at Sek 7. They are fruits as well which planted at the area of mini roundabout near the bridge.
