Farewell party at Yulfia's/Syaiful and Hidhir's house...they have done with their study and will leaving Gatton for good. Farewell party, pizza and movie night by GISA. For those who finished their study go home quickly, your country need you :)...but for those who just start and still struggle with works here, please be patient...including me. The movie of the night was Laskar Pelangi. What such a good movie and sometimes brings back the nostalgia when I was a kid, at primary school as kampung girl. Seorang rakan Jawa mengatakan saya punya karekter asli orang Melayu, justeru malangnya saya sendiri tidak tahu apakah sebenarnya karekter asli bangsa Melayu itu? Beliau menyuruh saya membaca buku atau meneliti maklumat tentang Melayu di internet (Kalau beliau sendiri yang menyebutkan apakah karekter itu kan lebih senang). Jenuh saya mencari maklumat tapi semuanya bersimpang siur. Tidak ada data konkrit tentang itu atau mungkin pencarian saya yang tidak teliti. Saya sendiri tidak pasti asal keturunan saya. Datuk sebelah emak berasal dari Patani datang menuntut ilmu ke Kelantan. Bertemu nenek dan mereka berkahwin. Datuk sebelah ayah kononnya ada darah cina. Saya pun tak pasti. Salasilah keluarga yang saya tahu cuma bermula dari datuk dan nenek. Secara umum dari manakah asal melayu? Ada antara penemuan saya menyebut bahawa kalau Melayu itu berasal dari kelompok Mongoloid, Champa, Burma dan lain-lain. Pencarian itu turut meletihkan saya lantaran saya terpaksa menggali semula subjek Sejarah...

Hai...hari ini akak nak ajar puan2 masak hidangan yang menyelerakan ini..tengok dulu gambar2 di bawah tu..tergoda selera tak? Haa..akak ni sejak jauh di perantauan semakin aktif mencipta resepi2 masakan baru, jangan tak tau...Ceh! macam Chef Wan pulak lagak :))) Ni namanya Mullet panggang...ikan Mullet ni murah jer, AUD 3 untuk 3 keping. Mula2 puan2 bolehlah perapkan kepingan ikan ni dengan garam, lada hitam, serba serbi rempah yang ada dalam lemari, mana2 sos sesedap rasa..pastu gorenglah dengan minyak yang sedikit..setelah sebelahnya berwarna kuning cantik macam kat dalam gambar tu, bolak balikkan pula di sebelah lagi. Pastu bolehlah hias dengan sayur dan apa2 yang patut... Ok puan2..ini pulak kepala Salmon masak lemak cili api daun kesum..Sedap gak ikan ni, banyak rawan dan omega 3. Pun murah juga nih..AUD 4.50 untuk 2 kepala saiz besar. Selain dimasak lemak, kepala ikan ni juga sedap dimasak kari atau kurma. Walaupun takder salji tapi suhu menjunam hingga 3 darjah celcius di Gatton..ada frost kat BNE (waimo itu cuma 13 degrees). For me yg 1st time menghadapi winter nih sangatlah "menderita" walaupun banyak lemak :p The flower blooms in my yard...acacia nih..cantik kan?? Salah satu "penderitaan" hamba..my fingers cracked and bleeding..sakit tuh walaupun kecik. Selain tu hidung pun bleeding cos sini udara sgt kering. Pagi2 masa hembus harta dalam idung tu...akan terpercik keluar darah, bawa ke siang dan malam tak kering. Tapi takderlah meleleh cam yang selalu dialami budak2 tuh. Kemarin sorang member kasi petua. Letak sebekas air dalam bilik untuk menwujudkan kelembapan...cos bila air tu evaporate so udara jadi lembab. Alhamdulillah pagi tadi takder percikan darah dari hidung lagi. Yang ada cuma sedikit sisa darah melekat di dalam rongg hidung. Kalau ada salji camaner yer? mesti lagi "menderita" aku..tapi kalo ada salji udara jadi lembab kot? Nak kena test lah...

Orang dah jadi org bandar...tak dok dah kat Gatton nih :)..Yes! Hisham will move to BNE for the next sem & the rest. Our community become reduce for sure. But InsyaAllah next sem, 2 more families will arrive and next year the population in Gatton will further grow due to the shifting of Vet School. Me chewed lamb grilled with full of passion..kolestrol banyak tu mak aih, tapi bagus coz will "heat" the body during winter heheh (alasan) Seafood salad specially prepared by me..heh looks yummy..isn't it? this is a combination of salad & kerabu (tak sama eh?)..it contains of shrimps, squids head, clamps and lala that mixed well with ring anion, chillies, "kuchai", shallot leaves, radish, carrot, toasted peanut and the "geragau goreng" plus salt, sugar, tartar sauce and lemon. Yumiko Saga, a mammalian development professor at the National Institute of Genetics.and Hideyuki Okano, professor at the School of Medicine at Tokyo's Keio University revealed a gene that is linked to early hair loss, sparking hopes for a treatment to prevent thinning and baldness in humans. The research team found that the absence of a gene known as Sox21 -- which it said is shared by humans and mice -- can lead to early hair loss. The scientists biologically engineered mice by blocking the gene and found that the rodents started losing hair on their heads about 15 days after birth and became completely naked a week later.
