Green
This afternoon meeting on Green Policy by OZ in Queensland area. Presentation delivered by whom I do not know, maybe he been introduced while I'm not in, "I was late..again" :). This is the 3rd times they talking about green aspiration mentioned Singapore as a model of urban green park. Overall look at OZ's sorrounding environment is not mesmerizing since the land is considered as unfertile and dry. Trees are very few and almost scattered everywhere.
Why Singapore is being an idol is out of my thought, but in my perception I believed they adore Singapore policy to green their inland due to the limited sources Singapore has had, which is they are equal in limitation of natural resources.
At this point, I ponder over my country which has abondane resources in term of forest, water, oil, treasure etc. But it was just like over fed creatures, who are gifted with so many things but they never know how to appreaciate them. Our country is well green, higher humidity content in our air, with huge amount of trees. We are about to ignore of carbon sequestration. There are massive deforestation everywhere. Our rivers turns to yellow and shallow. Doest it still legal business by somebody/no body/anybody or ?
Believe me, I can only experienced cleared forest every where while landed in KLIA/LCCT area. Let's be honest with our land, our self, our people, our future generation and our life. We need a space to breath and only the trees can absorb CO2 and release O2. Let's be green, lestarikan our environment, our rivers, our forest. Let's re-cycling and composting as much as we can. Stop using plastic, do not litter, and plant trees every corner of our land.
