BCG
Remember about BCG? During our school days, while we were 12 years old in standard six we may felt that we are the most senior in the school. We thought that we were matured enough.
Some girls already got their first period. Well, during that time I remember the feeling of becomes an adult. Thinking of not missed prayers, know how to cook, be responsible on younger sisters/brother, practicing tied on batik sarung, kept things neat and in order etc.
While the boys at the same age maybe still running and jumping around. Catching birds with their lovely elastic band with adorable wooden stick/horn. They were smaller in physical outlook, unbreakable voice and “centre divided” hair.
We get through all these changes with unspoken experiences. But BCG remains in our memory as part of the event. The injection like sparks of fire on the skin surface and it was exploded beneath our left shoulder. It took a week or even a month to recover. Sometimes we may feel sick of the scar that left.
Today it still create a scar on our children. How to prevent BCG from creating an ugly scars like this? Why other injection on the other part of our body did not produced scar? Maybe there is an attempt to eradicate this sort of blemish. Think of it.....
