The Seafood Story
Seafood is the most delicious creatures in the world...
And now I understand why western people said seafood from Asian is terrible! This afternoon we have an un-formal conversation during lunch time. There were staffs and postgrad students (we are considering as staff as well) and we had had a very impressive chit chat.
They said basa (patin) is terrible because in Vietnam, they are caged together in a congested, shallow and muddy area; they being feed and produce offspring in the same place. So, they won’t eat basa and imported seafood from the 3rd world countries! And actually it’s true!..hummm
What else? A freshwater prawn…they eat debris from crocodiles feeding and it’s really smell yurky! Tat’s why I don’t like to eat prawn without removed intestine..Can you imagine the whole tom yam or char kue tiow smell “tut” when they add prawn with intestine.
The most popular one, cat fish is also proved to be the dirtiest fish, cos they eat almost everything! Tat’s why I feel “erkk” when people catch fish using the cacing! Yurk3x! Me also not comfortable to eat a squid with tiny or even big fish half digested in them..but I don’t know how to deal with the ketam? Where are the intestine and the part that should be removed? Hummm
