15th April 2010: Leisurely OZ

Executive team members of Australian Society of Horticultural Sciences: back row (left to right) Nick McLeod, Gerald Mcevilly, Peter Oppenheim, Richard Markham, front row (left to right) David Aldous, Russ Stephenson, Rod Drew, Ian Warrington, Jill Stanley (absent John Chapman)

This Society organizing congress all over the world, they generate income worth than $33 million, they gain a sponsorship value of $150,000 from private sectors; they able to provide young scientist with a travel award worth than USD 2000. But look at their executive team members! They wore short with a flip-flop... they show warm smile: real enthusiasm, affection and kindness, no suits neither ties :P..less stress, less anger, less cost for attire

Now, I understand why they can sell fruits at stalls along the highway without a seller. Just a corroded tin with written words "honest tin"..I understand why they never horn while you drive carefully on the right lane, I understand why they can stop at zebra line, I understand they didn't have toll girls at the toll gates, DIY for refill fist & pay later at any petrol station, the cashier will ask "hi, how are you today?', "hi, how's your day?", "have a nice weekend", etc... and the most important thing is I understand why they been described as leisurely :)
